Welcome to eMilling, proudly located in Bothaville, the maize capital of South Africa in the heart of the Free State province. Established as Eendag Meule Bothaville (Pty) Ltd in August 2006, we began operations in May 2008 and have since grown to become a trailblazer in the maize milling industry.
Our mills, capable of handling an impressive 500 000 tones per annum, stands as a beacon of efficiency and reliability. This capacity enables us to meet the demands of an expanding market while maintaining the highest quality standards.
In 2024, we had scaled up to 7 state-of-the-art automatic autobagging packlines, 2 automatic small packaging lines, and 4 manual lines, These advancements allow us to pack over 500 000 tons annually, ensuring consistency and precision for every product we deliver.
Our innovation journey didn’t stop there. The installation of an extrusion plant has enabled us to diversify our offerings with the production of instant porridge, adding value and variety for our customers.
As part of our expansion, we launched the EM Kontreimark, a platform designed to provide fair pricing for both our customers and employees in Bothaville and the surrounding areas. This initiative underscores our commitment to fostering growth and prosperity within our community.

Solar energy offers numerous environmental benefits. Unlike fossil fuels, solar panels produce no greenhouse gases, carcinogens, or other harmful emissions. As one of the pioneers in the industry, Eendag Meule stands among the few mills in Africa utilizing solar power.
Our solar project is a testament to our dedication to sustainability. It comprises 2526 x 255-Watt solar panels, generating between 2.5 and 3.5 Megawatt hours of power per day. This translates to approximately 1,000,000 Kwh per year and an estimated total of 31,973 Megawatt over the 25-year lifespan of the solar plant.
By embracing this green solution, we’re making a significant impact on reducing CO2 pollution. Our solar initiative saves 1,226,400 kg of CO2 emissions annually and a staggering 30,660,000 kg over a 25-year period. To put it into perspective, this is equivalent to planting 4,882 trees each year to offset these emissions.
